Mobile broacasting, commonly known as "Mobile TV" since some months has been one of the most important topics within the media sector. Since March 2005 already, the BLM has taken first initial steps to bring forth a European DMB-Project on the road. The pilot project MI FRIENDS composed of four sub-projects, connects more than 70 project members from 9 countries. The project has been actualised in close co-operation with the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) of the Republic of Korea. Right before the start of the Football World Cup, the first sub-project started in Munich.
